Unlike with my previous photos I’ve developed the photos you see below in Lightroom 5.4 and used the fringing and CA tools to reduce color artefacts on edges with strong contrast. Not that it did much good, considering just how flawed the 25mm f/1.4 C-Mount lens is in this regard. 😉 You can find my previous posts about the C-Mount lens here. I will be posting the review of the lens tomorrow. In the meanwhile you can view all my photos taken with the 25/1.4 C-Mount in my Flickr set.
If you are interested in C-Mount lenses on Nikon 1 cameras, check out my review of the cheap 50mm f/1.4 C-Mount lens here. You can find more of my photos taken with the 50/1.4 C-Mount in my Flickr set.

You sure get some delightful photos from this lens! In some of the photos I see a soft circular feel on the edges of the images — I like that! It give the photos an enchanting look. The top photo of you orange kitty is my favorite image in this group. He looks great in black and white and I love the spot light and focus on his face.
Thank you Joni!
Those are strong chromatic aberrations which leave a that look on the edges when you convert the photo to black and white. In color they look orange., purple or green.
Yes, I like that one the best myself. “Choopa” sure is one photogenic cat. 🙂
Dude… that top photo. Wow. It has “it” in spades. Very well done.
Thanks Jan!
